What this site knows about you

Who runs this site

spasciz.com is operated by Darrell Fuller, working as Spasciz — an independent music producer and creator educator based in the United States. There is no company behind this, no data team, and no advertising department. Questions go to darrell@spasciz.com and I answer them myself.

What I collect directly

Only what you hand over on purpose:

• Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter. I use it to send you the newsletter. That's the whole purpose. I don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone who wants to market to you.
• Whatever you write me, if you email about a partnership or a question. Kept only as long as the conversation is useful.
• Whatever you tell the chat widget, including your name and email if you choose to give them when it asks. See The chat widget below — it's an AI assistant and it will ask.

There is no account to create on this site, no profile, and no password. If you never email me, never subscribe, and never use the chat widget, I never learn who you are.

What gets collected automatically

Some data is created just by a browser loading a page. On this site that means:

• Server logs. This site is hosted on Netlify, which records standard request data — IP address, browser type, which page was requested, when. This is ordinary web-server behaviour and I use it only to keep the site working.
• Analytics. I use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people actually find useful, configured to anonymize IP addresses. I look at totals and trends, not individuals. I don't run advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or cross-site trackers of any kind.

Third parties that see a request

A few services are involved in delivering this site. Loading a page means their servers receive a request from your browser, which includes your IP address:

• Netlify — hosting. Every page is served from their infrastructure.
• Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google's font servers.
• Suno — the audio on the Music page streams from Suno's CDN. Their servers see the request when a track is played.
• Kit — my email platform. If you subscribe, your address is stored with them.
• Gumroad — handles purchases of the Masterclass and the AI Music Creator System. If you buy something, Gumroad processes the payment. Your card details go to them, never to me — I never see or store payment information.
• SuperIntern — the chat assistant. The widget loads from their CDN on every page, so their servers see the request. Anything you type into the chat is sent to them and stored there.

The chat widget

There's a chat button in the corner of every page. It's an AI assistant run by SuperIntern, and it's worth being clear about what it does, because it behaves differently from the rest of this site.

• It reads your messages. Whatever you type goes to SuperIntern's servers and is processed by an AI model to generate a reply. Don't put anything sensitive in it — no passwords, no payment details, nothing you wouldn't put in a normal email to a stranger.
• It will ask for your contact details. This is the part to know about. The assistant is set up to answer questions and to ask whether you'd like me to follow up — which means asking for your name and email. You are never obliged to give it. The chat works fine if you decline, and I'd rather you decline than feel nudged.
• Conversations are stored. Chats land in a dashboard I can read, so I can see what people are asking and follow up where someone asked me to. I read them as a human being, not as a data set.
• It tags your browser. The widget stores a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage so a conversation survives a page refresh. It's a random string, not your name, and clearing your browser data removes it.

If you'd rather not use it, don't open it — it collects nothing until you send a message. Blocking scripts in your browser removes it entirely, and the rest of the site works normally without it.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site — particularly on the Setup page — are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The destination site may set its own cookies and track the referral. I only link to tools I actually use, and sponsored content is always disclosed as sponsored. Clicking an affiliate link tells me nothing about you personally; I see aggregate referral counts, not names.

What I don't do

• I don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Not to anyone, not for any price.
• I don't run advertising networks or behavioural retargeting on this site.
• I don't build profiles on visitors or try to identify you across other websites.
• I don't use your email address for anything other than the newsletter you asked for.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link at the bottom of any email — one click, no reason needed, no retention flow. You can block cookies and scripts in your browser; this site is built to work fine without them.

You can also ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it. Email darrell@spasciz.com and I'll handle it. If you're in the EU, UK, or California you have these rights formally under GDPR or CCPA — but you don't need to cite a regulation for me to act on it. Just ask.

Children

This site is meant for people making music and building creator businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll update the date at the top of this page. If it changes in a way that affects people already on the newsletter, I'll say so in the newsletter rather than quietly editing this page.
